Over a year in hospice care... man is amazing.

https://superbhospice.com/how-long-is-the-average-hospice-stay/

"While it’s impossible to predict exactly how long someone will stay in hospice care, the average stay tends to be around 70 days."

Although, dying for a year also sounds pretty miserable. I hope he’s comfortable.

Iirc he’s chill. Eating lot of ice cream and shit

[–] Plopp@lemmy.world 9 points 5 months ago

Are you sure that isn't just ice cream and chocolate?

[–] aeronmelon@lemmy.world 7 points 5 months ago

He won life. He's just enjoying the victory lap.

I doubt he's as chill as he might seem outwardly (he's a politician, so he knows how to look dignified in virtually any situation). He was married to Rosalynn were married for 77 years. I can't imagine what he must still be going through after that sort of loss.

I've been married for 11 years, and I can't even imagine the loss he feels. I choose to imagine he's living his best single life, and trying to drown in hospice pussy. That way I don't think about it and get sad.
