Fuck that. I don't care where they're from. Scammers don't deserve to be treated with respect or dignity. They are subhuman trash and ruin people's lives.

"Pajeet" is racist as fuck. We can hate scammers without being racist.

I don't see how it's any different from calling Russians "Ivan" of Germans "Fritz". It's not a nice thing to do but I'd place it pretty far down on the racism scale tbh.

Ivan or Fritz are real names/surnames from those countries which have completely different meaning now compared to how they were used in wars. Pajeet is a made up name only used so far to hate on Indians/ South Asians.

While yes it is absolutely racist, scammers are not capable of having an identity associated with someone who is on par with humanity. They're far below animals.

I prefer the term "demihuman" or any other dehumanizing language so they know who they are.

Minus the human trafficked ones of course. Only the vast majority who do it willingly.

Edit: let me clarify. I did not say using racist terminology is correct nor justified. I'm saying that people who scam others are so far removed from the identity of humanity and compassion that they do not deserve the light of day, much less the air they breathe.

Yay, someone committed le wrong, that means we get dehumanoze them yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay

I'm a bit lost. I didn't justify using racist terms. I'm saying that scammers lack the core traits of humanity, compassion and care in others.

And they don't deserve anything, let alone feeling comfortable in a conversation, or the air they breathe.

That is regardless of race, sex, gender. If you scam someone else, you don't deserve life.

Dehumanization isnt just racism lol. Its any kind of denial of humanity to anyone. And i really dont care for it.

I get scammed every day on a near daily basis. I get scammed when my landlord raises my rent without fair cause. I get scammed when I look at inflated sale prices at my local grocery store for already shrinkflated goods. I get scammed when I get fees and tips tacked on to my bill when I go to the movie theater or a restaurant. It’s fucking infuriating but I don’t wish death upon my waitress, the store owner, or even my landlord. It’s all just unregulated capitalism in action. Scams, big or small, make money, and money moves us forward.

Just because some degenerate across the world with a funny accent who I will likely never interact with plays by the same rules doesn’t mean he should be thrown into a wood chipper. IMO.

Using racial slurs isn't only damaging and insulting to the person being directly talked to or about. I suggest adopting a blanket position against racial slurs in any context.

If you can't be made fun of, you're the bad guy.

[–] Belastend@lemmy.world 1 points 3 months ago

there is a huge gap between "making fun of" and "racist bullshit".
