Welcome to the discussion of US Politics!
Rules:
- Post only links to articles, Title must fairly describe link contents. If your title differs from the site’s, it should only be to add context or be more descriptive. Do not post entire articles in the body or in the comments.
Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.
Example:
- Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
- Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
- No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
- Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
- No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning
We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.
All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.
That's all the rules!

In the fifty four days since this account was created, it has made four thousand three hundred and ninety-seven submissions to Lemmy.
That’s one every seventeen minutes and forty-one seconds, twenty four hours a day seven days a week.
One rule Reddit Politics had that I loved was the "No Concern Trolling" rule.
That combined with a general bad faith argument rule would clean this kind of trolling up real quick.
The fact that this community hasn't implemented these kind of rules has been sad. However, it's not like we're flooded with this type of content. But that doesn't mean it's not an issue
This should just be admin/mod discretion as it’s a very transparent ruse and you can’t make rules to cover all the fringe cases.
So is the "no concern trolling" directed towards me, the subject of that post, or the poster posting my stats? Because I'm unsure what "concern trolling" is in this context.
I didn’t make the stats, friend, and if you have a problem with them you should take it up with the people making the submissions!
Thanks.
I don't have a problem. You are totally free to keep being obsessed with me.
And I just posted some more, so be sure to update your stats.
I'll keep posting. Thank you!
I thought you liked the attention?
Nice touch adding graphic of the fact that the mods don't think I've done anything bannable.
Also, I don't post 24 hours a day. But I've just posted some more stuff, so please update your stats for next post. Thank you!
You haven't done anything bannable, but they do also still think your takes are bad and misleading.
Mf has got "but I'm not touching you! I'm not touching you!" energy in here
I call it big hall monitor energy.
Um, did you read the article I posted? It's actually an anti-Stein article. lol
Why would I be upset that people don't like my opinions?
Were you under the impression that I thought people did like my opinions here?! People here def like to let me know what they think of my opinions. lololol
And it won't stop me from posting what I want, when I want, where I want. And voting for who I want. Thank you!
I switched from being a staunch socialist, voting for the SWPUSA every year to being a proud Harris voter due to your conduct in the comments.
Yes we all know that you know everyone thinks your ideas are trash
In the 453 days that the @SatansMaggotyCumFart account has been active, it has made eight thousand two hundred and 25 submissions to Lemmy, which is on average eighteen posts every single day!
My post count is seventy-two, actually.
The account you link has 0 posts and 4 comments...
That’s because you’re in the Lemmy.ca instance.
