Knicks @ Celtics
Lost interest when I saw Knicks were getting blown out by Cs in 1st.
I didn't watch, but Celts feel like a lock for #1 in the East. Not a hot take, but it's been a while since you could call it so early
Maybe, but I could see the Celtics falling short due to lack of size. Even when everyone is healthy, the Celtics front court tends to be one big player and two small forwards. Not that they have much of a choice since their two best bigs are Horford, who is too old to play for long stretches, and Porzingis, who is injury prone. In the playoffs last year, the Celtics struggled to contain dominant bigs like Bam.
Yeah who else is going to contend with them? It's been clear for a while. They finally won one.
Knicks are their only threat for #1 spot. But yeah, Celts vs Thunder in the finals? I'm in. Re: Celts, It's been a while since a team ran it back successfully the next year, even past the semis the 2nd year
True. They have to stay healthy. Who knows what Philly will look like. Or Bucks. I don't want to discount Pacers. Who took Celtics to their limits despite the sweep.
