Apart from the yes men, the political appointees and the fanatics, Hitler was universally hated by his generals.
Yeah, but there was a difference between the two sets.
The generals under Hitler saw Hitler as a useful idiot that would fund the military after decades of neglect.
The generals under Trump saw Trump as a strategic liability, undermining American soft power in a way that undermined their hard power.
