I hope it is dumbing down things, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was influenced by the dairy lobbyists.
Oh it most definitely is.
It's very clear the headline should be "sufficient calcium", instead of "daily glass of milk".
The amount of money put into dairy pushing ads is insane.
Prolly most people still get the "got milk?" reference. If not directly, then perhaps through R&M "hungry for apples?" joke. Idk.
