Yeah, Meta doesn't exactly make it an easy clear-cut process. To this day my account is probably still only "deactivated" but since I don't trust them to delete my data anyway I haven't bothered going back to confirm and "delete". And I don't suppose the process has gotten simpler since then.

I'm not OP. I have stopped long ago and was never a big fan of them to begin with.
