The firm has also claimed that there is evidence to suggest that the app is an illegal pyramid scheme, with members being charged $49.99 a month to join.

I wish this was explained a little more.

Affiliate marketing is what they're doing under "Hustler's university". Probably the same thing.

Indeed. Affiliate marketing is another term for multi-level marketing, which itself offers a thin veneer of legitimacy to a more typical pyramid scheme.

Very simple, really. An app that charged less than $49.99/mo would be poor-guy shit.
