That's what I think happened to me, seems weird that so many of us are getting banned at the same time. It's different for me though, I get banned or downvoted to oblivion if I express any right wing ideas. It's 98% leftist there now it seems. Wouldn't surprise me if they ban r/conservative entirely this year.
I think the opposite happening more than that
Which subs pray tell?
Yep I'm concerned they'll do that too. They'll find some posters in r/conservative that are inappropriate and use that as an excuse to ban. The sad thing is conservative is overall really open to other ideas and open discussion! Say anything not left on reddit and you get torn apart which is horrible.
Would just be nice to be able to have open dialogue instead of all this tribalism and rage and arson and violence and assault and whatnot. Seems like a fair ask but everyone has lost their minds lately it seems.
I know I can't fathom it. It honestly frightens me. The lefts behaviour is a big reason I swung right, tolerance and acceptance of difference is important to me and a chunk of left just aren't like that anymore. If r/conservative were openly behaving like many left wingers on reddit they'd rightly be condemned. It's so wrong
there was a massive uptick of shadowbanns, and permabans around the week of feb 12, i think reddit is purging as much as they can right now. reddit, huffman wants to sell off the site asap.
That's around when my account was 7-day suspended, early Feb. Interesting.
Yes I ended up on a forum funny enough they all cooberated with their own experiences,. The thing is some of the bans don't make sense at all. I attempted to appeal at least 3 accounts that received the vague site wide ban message, all denied. I think they only will consider the original banned account that triggered all the other ones. Before you could just use a new or different account and avoiding the banned sub, but they decided to ban it anyways
