Speaking as an adhd person:
I cannot afford to use these services.
I cannot deal with their bullshit, and, as someone with marginalized aspects of my identity, cant deal with their spyware.
I can, however, walk about a block to a 24 hour grocery store or pizza place thats open late. If i fucked up.
With delivery I just meant
An option some ADHD peeps can use, 100% not an option developed to help with ADHD fuckery.
I hate third-party delivery services, those are just exploiting workers & act monopolistic when it comes to fees they change to the restaurants.
I go get my own food, but it still happens that I can't leave my apparent sometimes so I assumed this does help some people.
I resolved a lot of my food issues by having stores in the same building I live (and nice restaurants in the 1 to 5 minute walk where I can skip the delivery & go get it myself).
But yeah, not all days, sometimes food is complicated.
If i cant leave my apartment, i cant let the delivery guy in.
Or i can ask a friend whos gonna be by to grab me something.
