on top of that it's just a repost from another karmafarming account who posted it to uplifting news
But there is no karma in Lemmy. Why would someone farm it?
Because there is karma on some instances and ways to see your total score. Is it still dumb? Absolutely, but people be people.
Some people also just repost anything to another instance if they don't like another instance. It's reposts all the way down!
