I remember reading about this. For somebody who doesn't live in America, this was certainly an eye-opener regarding how broken America's health system is.

But there is no karma in Lemmy. Why would someone farm it?
Just cause he thought of it first makes it no less relevant as a choice for healthcare.
Mind you with the current administration I think standards may slide a lot and you might end up working in mines on this plan.
In a for-profit private prison, he won't get very much health care.
