The police were tipped that he was in a certain bar. He was there, a gunfight happened, the terrorist was shot and he died on his way to the hospital

Surprising they found him in a bar tbh. Guess he was hiding in a place they'll least expect him

Terrorists and being a damn hypocrite go hand in hand.

[–] Soitsgonnabeforever@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Terrorists only have to uphold their values at the time they are facing the person from most hated religion/race and with a divine order(usually from another terrorist).

Other time they don’t have issues with drinking ,pre-marital sex, lying ,watching prawn ,betting ,listening to music ,cheating.

Not that surprising at all. Charlie Hebdo shooters were also raging alcoholics even though their own religion forbids it. As a matter of fact their own religion forbids even being in bars to begin with. But this type of scum isn't exactly the type to adhere to the parts of his religion that don't fit his agenda.

Some of the 9/11 perpetrators also had issues with alcoholism, gambling, going to prostitutes frequently. I think one of the Charlie Hebdo attackers also was in prison for repeated petty crime. Obviously all of those behaviors are not very aligned with the religion they claim to sacrifice themselves and other people for.

The double thinking to achieve that is insane honestly.

I think the thinking is - "it's the west's fault I'm drinking, death to the west!"

To be fair magical thinking isn't exactly heavy on the rationality.

The double thinking to achieve that is insane honestly.

And yet so prevalent throughout human history.
