Not that surprising at all. Charlie Hebdo shooters were also raging alcoholics even though their own religion forbids it. As a matter of fact their own religion forbids even being in bars to begin with. But this type of scum isn't exactly the type to adhere to the parts of his religion that don't fit his agenda.

Obviously all of those behaviors are not very aligned with the religion they claim to sacrifice themselves and other people for.
Terrorists only have to uphold their values at the time they are facing the person from most hated religion/race and with a divine order(usually from another terrorist).
