I initially was going to post this in r/NBA_CBA_QandA, but it's been inactive for long time.

Question is the headline: thinking about Miles Bridges situation. Not that the NBA would do this (though they should), could they do it?

The CBA is so long and I hope one of you in here can help me out. Go Bulls btw.

There's wording in the CBA that suggests they can, but they couldn't even get Warriors Sprewell contract terminated for choking his coach.
