To me it seemed like great buy at the time and I wanted him at Chelsea. The wages are crazy though.

On paper it was, watched him at Dortmund and I was sure he was going to be massive at Utd or anywhere else.

IIRC Dortmund bumped up his wages in his last season to keep him happy but also push up any potential transfer and future wages.
