I thought Josh Jackson was going to be who Mikal Bridges became
I thank him everyday that he canceled his workout with the Celtics. A world with him instead of JT would have been tough.
He was such a Danny Ainge pick too
He was the same archetype as their number 3 pick the year before, Jaylen Brown. An unfinished wing that had loads of untapped potential but was fairly raw. He later took Langford which kind of fit that profile too.
I'm just glad Jackson canceled that visit because after the draft they said Tatum was their pick 100%, but who knows the validity of that especially how it was revealed after the draft and there were rumors that Boston was atleast interested in Jackson some bit.
A lineup with Book and JT would be absolutely disgusting, McDonough was really just the worst GM. Celtics legend for that move
The only reason I thought he was not going to be good - narrow shoulders.
I remember wanting the lakers to draft him over Lonzo AND Tatum. I just had such a good feeling about him
I’m just thankful that the Suns didn’t pick De’Aaron Fox, which Sacramento collectively cheer when Josh Jackson was announced as the 4th pick.
My hot-take was, still is, I'd rather have Justin Jackson than Josh Jackson.
Ah another one of those “wait til the offense catches up with the Defense” kinda guys
His mid range jumper in college was super smooth too. I was very high on Josh Jackson too, sadly.
Josh Jackson was always high
I called him the next iguodala. Also thought Stanley Johnson’s was the next Ron Artest.
