It’s a grift to steal money from taxpayers to the hands of the billionaires. Because once the new stadium is built the team value goes up the owner has a higher net worth , and once the owner sells the team they make more money. It’s a con
I guess the value may go up some just because they play in a nicer place? It’s not like they will own the arena so there’s not a tangible asset they gain
The cost of the area goes into the value of the team
He's it is and it has been the NBA business model for at least 30 years
