I understand that teams in these contracts are paying for future production, not past production. If I’m going to give you like $100M, I’d like to have some past production. Patrick Williams has done some stuff, but like that’s just… if that’s the number, if that ends up being true and the Vassell deal ends up being the comp that his agents go to, that’s a lot of cheese.

Large reason why the Bulls had a top 5 defense last year despite starting Lavine Demar and Vucevic, for one

I will give you that he does play good defense. But a dude that plays good defense and has a poor offensive game is not a $20 million a year player. Those guys are out there and available

He's a solid-good option to throw on the other teams best offensive player every night but he was far from carrying our defense. No reason to throw Lavine whose improved massively under the bus for PWill either.
