There are a few teams that come to mind when talking about being a disappointment.
Sixers will probably be another 2nd round exit with or without harden so is it really a disappointment anymore? this is who they are
Clippers will also most likely be an early playoff exit when Kawhi and/or PG gets eventually get hurt. Or westbrook boneheaded plays costs them games late in the 4th.
I dont know what people are expecting from dallas. Got a superstar in Luka but Kyrie has got to be the most destructive player in NBA history. He will somehow implode this team. Cant figure out exactly how yet.
I think the Suns will be the biggest disappointment this year. They are one of the title favorites. However this glass cannon build wont fare well in the playoffs. I can see a big physical team like the Lakers dominate in the paint and knock them out. Sure the big 3 can put up 90 but it wont be enough.
Pretty standard answers in here for the most part so I'll say Boston. On paper they should have everything they need to win a championship: superstar #1 option, elite starting 5, great depth etc. But there's just something missing from that team and honestly something missing with Tatum.
Tatum has won the 2nd most playoff games since he entered the league, imagine if he didn't have something missing!
I can imagine Boston having a parade in 2022 pretty easily.
Crazy what two seperate arm injuries and Draymonds constant dirty plays does to a guys shooting..
Yeah no superstar has ever had to deal with nagging injuries and dirty opponents in the Finals before.
Blaming his performance on Draymond is insane man
he had a wrist and shoulder injury and MULTIPLE plays where draymond just grabbed and yanked on his arm "Going for rebounds".... he didnt even play like shit.. he just shot like shit.
imagine if he wasn’t missing something in that finals series
