Exactly, not a dangerous tackle and not a tactical foul so I’m not seeing yellow but idk
How is it not a tactical foul lmao, are you saying there’s no chance on for Liverpool if Young doesn’t wipe him out?
He also didn’t get a yellow a few minutes earlier for kicking the ball away.
It doesn't have to be dangerous to be a a yellow. Sliding tackles where you get nowhere near the ball are regularly yellow cards, especially when they prevent the opposition player get into the area like this one. It's an incredibly obvious yellow card and I'm genuinely baffled people are arguing otherwise.
Then why wasn’t Kovacic sent off against arsenal? Plenty of sliding challenges don’t get near the ball and aren’t yellows
He should have been. That doesn't make this decision wrong.
