I'm looking for an app that displays the amount of time an app has been used, for the day, on top of the app (i.e. while the app is vein used). Basically a constant reminder of how much time I'm wasting on an app.

I enabled "Screen Time Reminders" this morning but haven't seen a reminder all day. It's not clear how it's supposed to work. The description says: "Get gentle reminders when you're spending a long time in an app". No mention of what's considered a "long time".

I get the first reminder at 15 minutes IIRC. Does Digital Wellbeing have the permissions it needs?

If you go under the toggle, there are 2 sections with all of the apps listed in them, at least on my end there is.

  • Apps that do not show the reminder. They have the checkbox cleared.
  • Apps that show the reminder. They have the checkbox filled.

See if selecting what apps helps. I've had it setup for a while, so I don't remember if you need to opt-in a bunch of apps, or it defaults everything in, but you need to deselect.
