With the preseason coming to a close Victor averaged nearly 3 blocks with 5 boards in only 20 mins played. JJJ, the reigning DPOY averaged 3 blocks with nearly 7 rebounds in 28 mins played.

If Victor increases his rebounding numbers and keeps playing at this level do you think he may have a real chance to be the first rookie to win DPOY?

His minutes will also likely be short, at least for something like the first half of the season. Just last night he looked out of breath after his run in the first few mins of the game.

Yeah. Great effort vs the Dubs but he looked gassed early on.

Yeah he was good but didn’t really score much after that run too. I think he’s going to have to build up that nba conditioning.
