The West is so stacked this year. Who do you think the worst team in the West will be? I think it’s the Pelicans, Blazers, or Rockets

Blazers. Scoot will be good eventually, but young rookies are almost always inefficient and below average compared to NBA starting caliber players. Grant and Brogdon will be gone by the trade deadline.

Their future looks bright, but they’re gonna be bad this year.

Yup. Blazers have potential to not suck this year (lots of talent) but I think the front office and coaching will make sure that doesn’t happen.

I really hope Billups grows as a coach. He is my favorite player of all time. Would be cool to see him succeed but it might not be in the cards.

I hope so too! He’s been bad the first couple of years, but coaches can improve. In the meantime, losing games is the plan so his job should be safe.

Blazers will be a very competitive 15th seed. They'll show us something and then Ayton and Timelord will sit and they trade Brogdon.

Yeah, I think they're the choice out of the Rockets, Spurs, Jazz, and Blazers.

  • Worst coach out of the group. I don't trust Billups at all, and think he's easily outclassed by Pop, Udoka, and Hardy.
  • Shortest rotation. They're only about 7-8 deep with two guys in Brogdon and Williams who are constantly battling injuries.
  • Most reliant on young guard play. Scoot/Sharpe will eventually be awesome, but young guards usually struggle to be positives.
  • They don't need to rush the rebuild. They're in a great spot. They have their picks and have the luxury of letting things develop slowly (if they want). I think they sell at the deadline and go for another top 5 pick to pair with their core.
