I was thinking today, I’ve seen talks about people entering their prime at really old ages, like Karl Malone for example. But that made wonder, who hit the peak of their career at the younger ages? For example, micheal carter Williams practically peaked in his rookie year.

Rose had a young prime.

I’m curious when people feel Bron’s prime started. Cuz he was already elite by Year 2 at 19 in the 2004-2005 season, but he clearly was a better player in say 2008, but he was even better in 2009 and 2010 than he was in 2008.

Well... prime is when a player is at their peak, so I think you are starting to answer your own question.

It’s a fair thought. Prime and peak are two seperate things, and LeBron’s probably had the longest prime of any player in the NBA. The question is when it started.

Derrick Rose and Brook Lopez are two players I’d argue had their peaks outside of their primes for example.
