Ignoring any contracts involving injuries etc.

For an active player to be making $25M a year on 8 PPG. Yes he’s good on the defensive end, but as far as offensive production… $100M for a 33 year old who averaged 8 PPG in the last 3 seasons?

The offensive value for any other player with average defense would be $10M or less. I just don’t see an additional $15M worth on the defensive end.

You're probably right, but there's likely a premium paid for a "sure" thing. Plus with Iggy retiring, there could also be some element of a "thank you" payment in the contract too since I doubt Draymond's gonna be balling as he enters 40.
