I mean… that’s our whole thing. Every team in the state is “Minnesota”. We purposely do not put cities in our teams.

It started after a long rivalry between the St. Paul Saint and Minneapolis Millers. There’s a history of the two cities hating each other and when the Washington Senators moved to Minnesota, they changed the name to the Twins as a measure of solidarity between the Twin Cities.

No team in MN will ever rock a city.

I get that there is history there. But I think it makes our teams seem hokey. It's such a "Minnesota-nice" solution imo. TwinCities (much like the Twins have used in the past) would make much more sense and sounds a lot cooler.
