I'm curious where in Canada you are in Canada OP? . I mean frito lay is very much American but I'd wager most of the chips they sell in Canada are made here as well.
According to another post, OP is in the U.S.
Yeah i think it's a bit deceptive to post this to !canada@lemmy.ca without any context when this was a photo taken of a bag of chips from a US grocery store.
The whole post is missing context. And every one is seeing something different as the issue! Lol.

I thought it was Lethbridge. I guess they do it in both places.
They do, and the potatoes are grown here as well.
