Both, sorta.

Art is a form of communication. It is up to the author/artist to ensure the message they want to convey is both clear and understood to their target audience.

However, no matter how hard you try there will always be some who don't interpret it as intended. These typically fall outside of the target audience, but their interpretation is still valid.

If the target audience still misinterprets, their interpretation is valid, but the artist did a poor job communicating their intention. This does not necessarily mean the art is bad though.

From what I can see that instance is just filled with people making crossposts from other instances.

How did GSP make a major difference to Canada exactly? That's my point. If you think I'm just shitting on him you're making a lot of assumptions based on the very short and concise post I made. Nothing there is shitting on him.

I just picked up FF7 Rebirth and Riders Republic during the sale. I've been enjoying them quite a bit. Otherwise my Deck is mostly used to play Dead Cells and PokeMMO.

I will never understand why we as a society admire athletes so much. GSP is a good guy, but worthy of the OOC? Maybe, but if it's based purely on his career in the UFC I think that's ridiculous.

My god you're right, X on its own does work.

I've been using the Steam button this whole time since that's the hotkey shown in gaming mode.

As a chef of ~20 years, I completely understand and approve.

My only real complaint with my Deck has been the frustration of trying to use the On-Screen keyboard in desktop mode. Often when I open it using the Steam Button + X hotkey, it launches Big Picture Mode instead of giving me a keyboard.

Is there a way to disable BPM from opening at all? I know on PC and Linux you can do so, but I can't find the option on my deck.

Ah yes, being in College and meeting with my garlic dealer was always such a highlight.

This is what I think the bulk of their lost userbase has gone, in addition to Gen Z not being terribly interested in PCs the way those in Gen X and Millenials are.

135 Tyndall Ave, Toronto. As some graffiti I saw nearby said "King and Duff is mad rough".

Move-in day I had what I'm fairly certain was a drug dealer got into a fight with me.

The elevator license was about a year expired, so I refused to use it. Walking up 7 stories wasn't too big a deal, except that the stairwell was usually home to a few meth heads indulging in their habit.

Frequently I would find homeless people sleeping in the halls outside my unit, often having to wake them up so I could get inside my own home.

My roommate and I used to hang out on our balcony and look at the people below and try to guess whether they were drug addicts, prostitutes, or former patients from the mental health institution the government had shut down a few years prior (many ended up homeless).

That doesn't even begin to touch on the bedbugs, roaches, and pigeon problems that building had, or the bi-weekly fire alarms.

I got out of there within 6 months. Absolute hell. The area has a very large Tibetan population, and I do miss seeing the monks and prayer flags though.

Yes, on occasion. It's called Overtired/Overfatigue, and if it becomes a pattern it can lead to major health problems over time.

Whenever I experience it I find reading a book helps to make me tired again. Just be careful you don't mess up your sleep schedule, it can take quite a while to readjust.

If you're familiar with docker you can have it up and running in ~5 mins.

I'm looking into finding a way to get access to the DLC packs for Rocksmith 2014 which have been delisted due to their licenses expiring.

I've been able to find some repacks that come with all of them bundled in as one, but I own a legitimate copy of the game itself. Is there any way to trick Steam into allowing me to use those files without a license attached to my account?

Update: I got it working! I downloaded fitgirl's repack, copied over the DLC to my Steam's installation and used CreampAPI to enable it. Thank you everyone!

One of my Professors shared this with me today, and I thought that some of you would appreciate this.

I was recently diagnosed with Chornic Depression, and one of the things my doctor mentioned is that Adult Men with Autism (me) are at a much higher risk for Depression.

I made this thread for two reasons:

  1. How many of you are in the same boat? I'm not medicated yet, but I'll be having a meeting with my GP today to discuss options. I'm curious what other's experiences have been like. What medications worked for you? Which ones were awful?

  2. Awareness. I have a feeling this is known to most of you, but if you're struggling and haven't considered that Depression may be at play, it's something to consider. I wasn't suicidal, but was getting close. I don't want to see any of you go through that, or worse.
