Personally, I prefer date on my daily wear watch. I prefer no date on my occasional wear watches. Mainly, I don't want to deal with setting the date, and for those occasional wear not having a date isn't a big deal.

If I was the type that regularly rotates through all the watches, then I'd want no date on everything so that I'm not stuck date setting everyday.
