'The consequences are enormous.' Aka, they get 15 games off and are welcomed back like nothing happened immediately after

The near unanimous support for abusers amongst the larger player fraternity is a barrier to any progress or action. When has a player, who has documented proof against them, been disowned by the player community? They are always welcomed back, again and again and again.

And that's why you can't outright blame silver or expect him to wave a magic wand and make it all better. And Im not victim blaming but look at porters gf now saying nothing happened...this isn't as black and white as people think.

Exactly. Miles Bridges was hanging out with guys like Draymond all offseason. Guys like Gobert and Dwight Howard seem more reviled by guys around the league than actual woman-beaters. That needs to change before we see any meaningful consequence to players.

Nothing. That's his point.

I mean Draymond has his own violence issues. Not just with Poole, there was that story of him punching someone out in a bar in Michigan a few years back.

So I can see how someone like him who has put his hands on people several times (that we know of) hanging out with an abuser.

This is one of the biggest factors in this and it’s not talked about enough.
