He had an off night as the Warriors did a fantastic job contesting his shots, especially Wiggins getting right at his hands while he's bringing the ball up, also GP2 for swarming him. Wiggins/Kuminga/GP did a great job.

He had a mini flurry at the beginning of the 4th but I didn't even hear his name after that. Book took over the rest and closed it out.

KDs handle has never been that great. It's primarily why the best defenders on him have been Wade, Allen, and such. They get low, throw him off balance, and don't let him step into shots by attacking his handle.

While he can shoot over anyone, he does so by getting to a spot while properly balanced and he likes to use a little pre-hop into the actual shot which those guys took away.

KD has lost a lot of athleticism that could overcome the poorer handle. That said, he's not washed at all. He'll likely continue to shoot his way back into another 50/40/90 season with no problems. It's just going to be more of an issue in the playoffs when teams are looking to hone in on that weakness.

He’s handles are objectively great, he’s the best handler ever for someone 6’10 and above. But I do agree he shouldn’t be a teams primary ball handled

This is just for discussion's sake, but that's Lamar Odom, no?

In his prime, dude was legit a PG in a PF's body, his handles and passing were unreal.

But agreed, KD's are very very good as well, especially for someone his size.

Wait are we saying Odom had a better handle than Durant?

We are going too far.
