I have recently been considering picking up the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe. I love the combo of the grey ceramic case and blue dial and it would be a good diversifier in my collection. But at 43.6mm it would also be by far the biggest. I have a relatively small wrist and to me it looks and feels borderline but I think I may just be able to pull it off. So I ask you, r/watches, the age old question...is this too big for my wrist?

If you asked the question, you’ll always think about it when you pick up the watch to wear. Don’t do it.

The right watch should have no doubt. None.

You won’t grow to like it — you’ll just grow to resent it; forcing yourself to wear it because you paid for it.

Have you looked at the Glasshutte SeaQ? It’s a great “not a submariner” dive watch like the FF.
