I was once at lunch at 3* Michelin L’arpege in Paris at the height of summer. Being a vegetable focused restaurant they served a lot of seasonal veggies.

But they went a bit overboard with beets.

There was a beet sushi. Then a beet ravioli. Then a beet focused ratatouille and I was basically beet after that and never wanted to see one again.
