This is a pretty selfless attitude in all hoesty but how does it affect his legacy?

Greatness used to be about leading a team, 'driving the bus' towards an NBA championship.

How would it have been received if Kobe said this about Pau when he joined the Lakers or if Steph said this when KD joined the Warriors?

Fair play to Giannis, he just wants to win, although I do find it interesting when he says "For him to feel successful, he gotta feel very comfortable". Sounds like it's Dame who feels he needs to be the leader and Giannis has sacrificed his position for it to work.

tbf, Giannis has proven he can be the one "driving the buss"

i think if he wins, the legacy will take care of itself

People can and will slander him but he won't care if they win.

"This is a pretty selfless attitude in all hoesty but how does it affect his legacy?" Nothing. Giannis already won as a bus driver. Even Kobe won few championship as a bus rider to Shaq's. Kareem with Magic and etc.

I don't think it'll affect his legacy much, tbh. He says it's Dame's team, but people still see the Bucks as Giannis'. Like he said, I think he just wants to make Dame feel comfortable in his position but we all know who's really driving the bus.
