Yeah it is. They also hang big ass flags of each players nationality in the training gym.

Sure but it's not like these comments are praising how inspirational it would be for him to be an elite nba player with austism. They're mocking him for acting 'weird'. This sub and r/nbacirclejerk bring it up every time there's a Scottie post.

Tony Snell got clowned on the internet for saying he had been diagnosed with autism. As a raps fans I've seen enough Scottie content to conclude that he's just a big ol goof ball. It's funny cos guys like Giannis and Lebron are beyond goofy at times but no one comes out with autistic comments lol.

At least he's your issue now lol.

Grump VanVleet isn't really overrated but he's definitely overpaid.

Misleading title.

Actual quote:

"Well, I want to talk to Draymond to make sure he’s ok. He’s an energized player. This is something that I didn’t expect from Draymond. If you look at my career and you look at Draymond’s career, he’s got four rings, and he was always able to keep his energy under wraps. This [incident] is really surprising to me."

"I would prefer to speak to Draymond to check on him, so hopefully one day he can reach out to me because his career is going very well. Even though he has a lot of energy and it can come across as negative sometimes. It never really affected his winning, right? So to see him kind of overreact such as I have overreacted in times in my career, it’s just a thing where you want to reach out to a player. So I hope that I can actually chat with him and just see where his mind is at and stuff like that."

What‘s the argument for the NBA to make free throws such a long interruption, such a long process? How does the NBA benefit from that?

Players have rituals and need some time to calm down, breath and focus. 10 seconds is more than enough for this. Like when it's the playoffs, players should be given the time collect themselves.

It would be mental for guys to have like less than 5 seconds to shoot the ball. The majority of players are good to go in under 10 seconds though.

Who genuinely believed he was going to be a star? It was the media that was pumping out propaganda trying to make it a thing. Perkins has for sure hyped him up and now suddenly is like woah woah woah we’ve never said this! Yeah whatever.

If Wemby had just stayed at the 3 point line that wouldn't have happened but he kept shifting backwards. It seemed obvious with 5/6 seconds left he was just going to yeet it.

The game has changed. That was 7/8 years ago. I get Joe's point but also referencing an article that was written when Kobe was still playing seems a bit irrelevant imo.

Genuine question - Will the lack of defense hidder Kyrie's and Luka's all time legacy standings?

Both amazing players in their own rights but i have always thought that this part of their game lets them down. Most all time greats have above average defense and i can't really think of anyone who's considered a great but had lazy defense. Pistol Pete? Steve Nash? Curry maybe?

Dude has become so unlikable. What sane individual stans for this guy these days?

This is a pretty selfless attitude in all hoesty but how does it affect his legacy?

Greatness used to be about leading a team, 'driving the bus' towards an NBA championship.

How would it have been received if Kobe said this about Pau when he joined the Lakers or if Steph said this when KD joined the Warriors?

Fair play to Giannis, he just wants to win, although I do find it interesting when he says "For him to feel successful, he gotta feel very comfortable". Sounds like it's Dame who feels he needs to be the leader and Giannis has sacrificed his position for it to work.
