I have a somewhat beginner camera canon EOS rebel T7 and will be traveling to NYC this weekend. What are some tips for safely photographing? I’m of course a little worried about getting my camera stolen or damaged and wasn’t sure if there are some recommendations on what to do and not to do. We will be in the Manhattan area and one night in Brooklyn (Williamsburg area)

I'm a street photographer based in NYC. As long as you're not an idiot asking for stuff to be stolen you'll be fine.
