According to PFF, Josh Allen has had the most elite-graded games since the start of the 2020 season (including playoffs), with 14. No other QB has had more than 8 (Mahomes) (alien.top)

That is what has killed every MVP campaign for him. He has two or three bad games a year where he is a bottom 10 qb. Mahomes doesn't have those games, even bad Mahomes games he is a top 10 qb. If Allen can put together a season where he eliminates those bad games he will for sure get at least one MVP.

The Jets games for the two are prime examples. Both QBs had some goblin brain INTs, but Pat was able to bounce back enough to win while Josh had deer in the headlights and lost in OT.
