Always impressive how he made the playoffs and got a top 5 pick after trading Wilson away.

Yet that wasn’t deserving enough to be coach of the year

Half the time it seems like it goes to a coach that over performed with a crappy roster they didn't build. That eliminates Pete.

Pete has always been overlooked for that award. Even during the LOB years he only got a handful of votes. The voters definitely do not like him

If he did the exact same thing coaching an east coast team he would 100% be coach of the year

East coast, or in LA

I’m a Duke fan. Coach K won that award 0 times in his career. And yet he’s a legend and a HOF coach. Same with all sports. Not winning the award doesn’t change what an incredible coach he is

It's a big shame neither Pete nor Schneider have been able to win a coach/executive of the year award. They are both more than deserving

Schneider should have gotten it in 2012 for the Russell Wilson and Bobby Wagner draft, but they gave it to Polian for having the foresight to take Andrew Luck first overall.
