Cost of these things is part of it, but honestly used Tesla and bolts are getting relatively cheap now. The biggest problem I see is charging infrastructure, specifically in apartment buildings.

It isn't a problem for those owning their driveway. I don't even know how to count the number of home owners in Canada.
