Hell, I love downvotes. It either means I'm wrong and need to check myself, or I made some people really mad. Win win.

Yep. Plus internet points aren’t real

Tell that to the mods on dbzero lol

Never before have I seen a batch of such fragile maniacs.

What did they do? This sounds juicy

Various communities on there, mostly AI themed communities (maybe more) will ban people for downvoting. In their defence, AI across the fediverse is pretty unpopular - so without it they'd be hammered into negatives almost every post.

Ah, gotcha. Yeah stable diffusion and AI art seemed like a core element of their instance a couple years ago. If people are going to their instances community and down voting all AI stuff I'm sure it would ruffle their feathers. It would be like going into a mattress store just to say all mattresses are bad because you don't care for them. https://p.lemmy.dbzer0.com/post/lemmy.dbzer0.com/13211160?thread=0.8857475#8857475

I mostly appreciate dbzer0 for their piracy, FOSS, and anarchist views. Also I think it's in their rules that people will be banned for right wing nonsense. I'm not really an anarchist myself, but I would plead the 5th on piracy and always love FOSS projects

People were being banned because they downvoted AI slop as it appeared on their feeds, not seeking it out and downvoting everything.
