Overview:
Electric Vehicles are a key part of our tomorrow and how we get there. If we can get all the fossil fuel vehicles off our roads, out of our seas and out of our skies, we'll have a much better environment. This community is where we discuss the various different vehicles and news stories regarding electric transportation.

Unreal... I doubt this will ever make it to market. Seems like patent CYA.
Meanwhile, granted I live in a pretty politically "blue" part of the USA where electric vehicle acceptance is probably near peak in comparison to the American average, but there are a LOT of people whizzing around the streets on electric ~~bikes~~ motorcycles these days ... pretty sure the "I'll only buy electric if it sounds like internal combustion" market segment simply doesn't exist, or if it does, is microscopic at best.
People get motion sickness because they expect the noise. EVs are also more dangerous to pedestrians particularly the blind.
Wow, some bullshit about EVs I haven't heard before. Full marks for creativity.
Such “bullshit” that Ford commissioned a study into it:
I don't understand the motion sick part.
They experience dissonance when they feel motion without the associated sound.
Man, look at me on this bicycle being all dissonant. Or a train. Or one wheel. Or any other number of things that don't go vroom vroom.
I think pickups are more dangerous than almost all other vehicles for pedestrians and those definitely aren't quiet.
