I feel omega should sit next to IWC. I own one each and think they’ve both gone overboard with their prices. IWC possibly a bit more so maybe just one tier appart, but omega definitely sits below tudor and oris.
Mmm an SMP300 is still barely in the $5k range and I just bought a Deville for $3k from the boutique. A 3 hand Portuguesier is like $8k!
True, Omega starts cheaper but a portugieser and a simple seamaster arent in the same class. I would compare a fliegerchronograf and a speedmaster which are similar and similarly priced. The portugieser are usually quite top range. The new top gun stuff is really old watches with new colours and stupid prices.
