After a slow start in his first two games, Lavine bounced back with the first 50 point game of the new season, scoring 51 points on 19-32 from the field and hitting 7 threes.

When the Bulls blow it up this season, which team could make a run for him to add a second or 3rd star? Possible teams to consider could be the Sixers, Hawks, Warriors, or even Lakers.

The only real trade piece they have is Lavine. Both Derozan and Vuc are at the tail end of their primes. Derozan is an expiring deal and I presume a team would need a guarantee he re-signs.

The next battle between contenders.

Do it now. Let Lonzo get as close to 100% as he is capable of getting before bringing him back. Get young as fuck and let Lonzo be the PG for that young team for a few years. Assumign he's like 80% of who he was, this gives them decent point of attack defense, shooting, and an on court general to learn with.

Bulls won't blow up because we already did that and it went nowhere because the NBA is about luck and we got unlucky. In our prime tank years, we had the 7th pick two drafts in a row. In the end, tanking and having a mid team all yields the same results
