usually, that's gonna be all the leftovers from people who try out a dozen headphones at home and send them back if they don't like them.
big companies like Amazon often just dump the returns on a landfill (or they end up in bin stores), but smaller stores might quickly check if the product is still in order, clean, and working, then put it back up for sale.
Often they just throw a hundred mixed products in a large box and sell the box. You can get some really nice random finds in these. Of course it’s now your problem to get rid of all the crap items in the box.
