Why is this strip following the kids narrative? I think the youngest person in the chat was...25?

You know, when I posted this, I honestly didnt I think this was about this post that I shared https://discuss.online/post/28897489

And was mostly thinking about shitty ass kids and teenagers leaning far right and being full blown racists.

Which only highlights how adaptable this comic is.

How do you think they were raised with those “values”?

[–] DarkCloud@lemmy.world 25 points 1 week ago (2 children)

4chan... Some of the jokes are literally 4chan references.

[–] Serinus@lemmy.world 6 points 1 week ago (1 children)

And 4chan is anonymous social media where you don't even have to create a fictitious user history or have a reputation. You can literally just post a thousand times a day. More if it's your job and you have help.

By far the easiest social media to manipulate.

They have a captcha I think, idk if it's for every board. Idk if having a posting history is worth much these days, unless it's quite old.

And who allowed them unfettered access…?

[–] bytesonbike@discuss.online 2 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

I don't think it's access. I grew up without supervision. And kids are smart.

But I had some good parents who would slap the fascist out of me.

The larger elephant may as well be the 'young Republican' here. They are of the age to have very young children.

[–] pyre@lemmy.world 7 points 1 week ago

not very young children. "young republicans" are up to 40 years old. they could have their own 20 year olds.

I have seen a lot of kids act like this

They're metaphorically kids on the political scene, 25 is a toddler of a politician.
