for me it was and still is the meze 109 pro

it is just perfect sounding in every aspect for me. and the treble is no issue for mye anymore. it is a fun, easy driven headphone.

Fidelio X2. It turns out that spending 5x more money only gets you 1/5 more.

HD800 with proper EQ are that extra 20%. Worth the extra money? No. Do I regret buying them? ...also no. I love HD800.
