for me it was and still is the meze 109 pro

it is just perfect sounding in every aspect for me. and the treble is no issue for mye anymore. it is a fun, easy driven headphone.

Ditto. I haven't really shopped for headphones since. I got a pair of DC Aeon Closed X for the office, but Z1R is still my go to when I want to hear something at its best.
