I'm from India. I've been using torrenting for many years. I've self hosted few months backs. Running OMV on my old PC with Plex and other arrs. Now, I'm looking for a VPN just for torrent downloads. Anyone using one and found cheap in my region, pls let me know. And also, how to use it in my server as it runs linux headless, so not a straight installation. I didn't Google and found many recommending Mullvad. Just wanted to understand if there is anything that can be self hosted and used along with my self hosted qbit.

I use ProtonVPN behind a gluetun container. I just keep my indexer and downloader behind it (SABnzbd + prowlarr) I used to have all my arrs and overseer and everything behind it because I was paranoid but it's not necessary. You don't even need SAB behind it cause it's behind ssl but yea. Proton running downloader and indexer through gluetun
