Hey! I need help designing a wooden server rack that has a depth large enough for a Dell PowerEdge server, I have seen the builds with the rails that can be bought online to screw to the wood, so the screws don't crack it, however i can't buy them in my country, only with a higher shipping cost than the actual rails. I was hoping someone can help me with the dimensions. I have looked at second hand racks locally, but i didn't find anything helpful or useful. Maybe someone has already built one?

Cheap approach is 2”x4” (or country specific equivalent) with 1” plywood shelves. Because of weight, you have to design and brace the corners very well or it will “rack” and collapse.

Next cheapest solution is a wire frame shelving unit with multiple adjustable shelves.
